Excellent read! You have a wonderful voice, and this story was nicely written. Very descriptive and visual, which can be quite hard to do well. I was grounded despite the abstract concepts you portray, which means I was truly vested. Nice job! I definitely look forward to seeing more from you.

I really enjoyed this story, and I’m surprised to see no other comments so far. The old-style speech is delightful. The characters are well-drawn, from the crusty Icarus to the apprentice. Great job.
